Trekking in the Himalayas
Prior to this trek, some of my friends had taken trek to DodiTal in the Uttarakhand. When they narrated their experience, felt as though i missed a great opportunity.
After a gap of three months, when they again planned for the new trek, i immediately said yes without asking the name of the place they planned to trek.
In September of 2008, we decided to take a trek to Hemkund Sahib which is located in the kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
Although it was not as dangerous as the Mayalipass trekking, the final 6km from Ghangria to Hemkund was steep and took me five tiresome hours to reach the HemKund Sahib.
