Mysore ( a.k.a. Mysuru ) is the second largest city in Karanataka, India and located 146kms southwest of Bangalore ( a.k.a. Bengaluru ) and one of the major attractions for global and local tourists.
There are plenty of places to see in Mysore...I missed taking pictures of some of the important landmarks of Mysore.
Mysore is famous for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival. Mysore also lends its name to the Mysore paintings, and the Mysore silk saree. Mysore is also famous for sandal wood-carvings and incense production.
